How Sky Logistics collects, uses and protects the personal data of visitors and clients of skylogistics.az.

This Privacy Policy explains how Sky Logistics and Expedition Services MMC (“Sky Logistics”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal data of visitors to skylogistics.az and of clients who submit a quote request or otherwise contact us through this website. It does not cover the terms of carriage, forwarding or warehousing services themselves — those are set out in the individual service agreement signed with each client.
When you request a quote, write to us or call, we may collect: your name and company; email address and phone or WhatsApp number; the shipment details you provide (route, cargo type, weight, volume, dates, special requirements); any file you attach, such as a packing list or specification; and the content of any message you send us. If you simply browse the site, we collect only basic technical data — browser type, device type and pages visited — needed to keep the site working correctly.
We use this data to prepare a route, a price and a transit time for your shipment; to respond to your enquiry by phone, email or WhatsApp; to perform a service agreement once one is signed; and to keep records required for accounting, customs and other statutory purposes. We do not use the data you submit through the quote form for unrelated marketing without your separate consent.
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the checkbox on the quote request form, and, where a contract is in place, because processing is necessary to perform that contract or to comply with our legal obligations as a freight forwarder.
Quote requests submitted through this website are handled through Netlify Forms, our website hosting and forms provider, which stores the submitted data on our behalf. We share shipment details with carriers, customs brokers, warehouse operators, agents and other partners only to the extent needed to organise your shipment, and with government authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We keep quote requests and correspondence for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and, if a contract follows, for the period required by Azerbaijani accounting, tax and customs legislation. Data related to enquiries that did not lead to a contract is deleted or anonymised once it is no longer needed.
This site uses only technical, non-tracking cookies and browser local storage — for example, to remember your language and light/dark mode preference. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioural tracking.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Access to submitted quote requests is limited to staff who need it to process your enquiry.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to withdraw your consent for future processing — this does not affect the lawfulness of anything already done. To exercise any of these rights, write to office@skylogistics.az.
This website and our services are directed at businesses and are not intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time, for example to reflect a change in our processes or in the law. The current version, with its effective date, is always published on this page.
